If your not familiar with wordpress it is essentially a very “robust” blogging platform. It is so robust, in fact, that when you know what to do and HOW to do it you can make any site using wordpress look like a website and not a blog!
This means you get ALL the benefits of a blog (pinging, indexing, content management, etc) without any side effects!
The trouble is wordpress is SO powerful its hard to know exactly how to take full advantage of everything it has to offer.
This is where I come in. I have been teaching/training internet marketing for over 7 years. My passion, like most people, is to make money online. This is essentially what marketing is all about.
The problem is, most people have some fantastic ideas on how to make money online, but no practical experience putting websites up … and so those great ideas fall by the wayside.
AND … if you have ever attempted to build a website from scratch (i.e. HTML, dreamweaver, kompozer) via WYSIWYG editors you KNOW how painful it can be.
My goal it to SHOW you how easy it is to build a site … that way you can focus on the MARKETING and making money rather than the BUILDING …

Hi there!
Love your wordpress theme and your videos! Can’t thank you enough for showing me how to add themes and plug-ins on my own – so incredibably helpful and economical.
I would like basically like to take your Techozoic theme (fabulous) and put what is currently in the right sidebar on the left side, free the right side up for text links and advertising. Can you tell me if this is possible and how to go about doing it?
BTW – I’m an SEO consultant and will be recommending this theme to my clients herein!

Hi Debra,
Glad to help! I have a LOT more videos to add … just run out of time … simply not enough hours in the day. You CAN split up your sidebars using the Techozoic Options in the “Appearance” tab. Under theme layout you can select 3 column and then determine if you want S C S or C S S (C = Content S = Sidebar).
As you can tell with this site I have opted for the 2 column layout but love this theme for its ability to add another column.

Some interesting and intelligent content you have here on your site. I have several wordpress sites and like your theme. I do notice that you are not monetising your traffic to its maximum which is what I used to do until someone pointed out to me that you can actually earn yourself some decent amounts to help pay your hosting and domain fees etc. Looking at your Alexa rankings I can see you obtain some decent traffic which for very little work could help you out. I use this Wordpress Plugin which effectively turns words and phrases in all (or just some if you like) your content, making contexual links which your visitors will click upon. Take a look at it and see what I mean, I easily clear my hosting and other fees each month using this. Hope that helps you out – we fellow wordpress bloggers have to stick together!

Definitely most of the free templates look nice but you may be unhappy with the experience that these templates offer. For instance, you will find that the designs are generally too simple, and the font sizes and colors are not in right place. You can always install a premium template and can correct all these issues. Simply by giving a more positive user experience, you are encouraging visitors to stay longer on your blog that is always a good idea. Nobody wants to chase their visitors by having bad designs!
